Buti Yoga Core Values

Butisattva: Students of the Buti practice that have tapped into their “cure”, their own light that allows them to make intense shifts in their physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.

If you’ve taken a Buti Yoga class, you might be asking “Umm, what is spiritual or emotional about Buti yoga?? I thought it was just a work out!” Well, I’ve got news for you. It’s not just a work out. It is a yoga practice, after all. When you dive deeper in to the Buti yoga practice, there is SO much more to it. Bizzie Gold, Buti founder, likes to call it a “sneak attack”. Buti Yoga attracts a lot of people for its calorie scorching physical practice, but people stay in the practice because of the energetic and spiritual work you are doing…with out even knowing it! In the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing and talking about the Buti Yoga core values, what they mean, and how you can incorporate them in your life.

Buti Yoga Core Value 1: Build the world you want to live in.

Butisattvas are go getters. We don’t wait around for things to happen in our lives. We set our goals and work like crazy to achieve them. If there are parts of our lives that don’t match our vision, we question, research, and figure out how to navigate around or through them.

This might seem like a lot to figure out at first, especially if you have been slightly complacent in some areas of your life. And thats not a “dig” at anyone. It’s easy to live a comfortable life, avoiding the tough stuff. Let’s take a BIG one head on.

“I hate my job”

OK. Now what.

Why? What is it that you can’t stand about your job? Are you walking in tomorrow and quitting? Most likely not. Does your job match your values? Are you surrounded by people who suck the life out of you? If it’s a straight up necessity to keep this job because it keeps you afloat, what can you do to change your view of it? Can you add a little something in to your life to help you cope with conditions that just aren’t feasible to change yet?

Find something you are passionate about and get involved! Read about it, learn about it, talk about it! A funny thing might happen. Having something you are passionate about, that brings you joy, could impact the way you view the rest of the world…including your job! When you can create a happiness in one part of your life, it has the power to seep in to other parts. That whole “Law of Attraction” thing, is REAL.

You, and only you, have the power to change your life. No one else is going to do it for you.
